Betty Josine "Jo" Cantrell, 96, widow of James David Cantrell, Sr. passed away March 29, 2021.

A native of Franklin County, Ga., daughter of the late Lloyd and Ila Gertrude Graham Mullinax, she was a homemaker and a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are three daughters, Jean Galloway (Bud) of Greer; Brenda Louise Alexander of Greer; Rita Cantrell of the home; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cantrell was predeceased by one son, James David Cantrell, Jr.; five brothers, Thomas, Russell, Robert, Jimmy, Paul Mullinax and one sister, Martha Hawk.

Funeral Services:

Visitation will be held 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. at Truth Missionary Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Truth Missionary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Sammy Kay, Sr. and Rev. Sammy Kay, Jr.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jason Areheart, Larry Fischer, Bob Hawk, Randall Mullinax, Rick Mullinax, Michael Noel, Evan Williams and Todd Williams.

The body will lie in state 1 - 7 p.m. at The Wood Mortuary.
