Billy Eugene Evans, 83, husband of the late Shelby Jean Campbell Evans, passed away October 10, 2020.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Garrell Lee and Ola Edith Hefner Evans, he was a retired garage door installer, member of Apalache Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Roger Evans of Clinton, Ray Evans of Greer; two daughters, Tammy Hufstedler of Lyman and Leisa Hess of Greer; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Lister, Brittany Lister and Jake Hess; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Brianna and Levi; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was predeceased also by one brother, Charles Evans.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Wood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at the gravesite following the service.
