Bobby S. Jones, 86, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday evening, January 27, 2021.

Born in Greenville County, South Carolina, son of the late Samuel Bennett and Willie Mae Jones, he retired from Carolina Fashions, where he was employed for many years.

Bob was a proud U.S. Marine Corp veteran and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-father. He and his surviving wife, Emma Jean Dill Jones, shared a loving marriage for 66 years.

Surviving:

Also surviving are his two sons, Aaron (Jean) and Alan; two grandsons, Clay and Jeff; all of Greer; four great-grandchildren and one sister, Cecil Mae Morgan of Roebuck.

He was predeceased by five sisters, Nan Pate, Virginia Stakie, Marcelle Compton, Faye Bryant and Mary Turner; and two brothers, R.B. Jones and W.D. Jones.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Eddie Leopard.

Burial will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after the committal service.

Memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church (FFF), 1300 Locust Hill Road, Greer, SC 29651.

Pallbearers will be Clay Jones, Jeff Jones, Keylan Jones, Michael Jones, and Bob Oscar Jones.

The family will be at the home.
