Bobby Robert Satterfield, 81, died November 23, 2014 at his home.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Grady Edward and Hattie Lucy Wall Satterfield, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of Flour Daniel, where he assisted with the building of the American Embassy in Russia, a member of Pelham First Baptist Church, and a longtime member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Patricia "Patsy" Gordon Satterfield of the home; two sons, Ty Satterfield of Matthews, North Carolina and Barry Satterfield (Sherri) of Ft. Inn; a daughter, Dr. Lynne DeFelice (Tom) of Palmetto Bay, Florida; a sister, Pat Gibson (Gene) of Greer; a sister-in-law, Lottie Satterfield; five grandchildren, Bridgett Sims (Josh), Nicholas Schettino, Nathan Schettino, Thomas DeFelice, and Reed Satterfield; and two great-grandchildren, Kinsleigh Payne and Emma Sims.

Mr. Satterfield was predeceased by a brother, Wilbur and a sister, Joanne.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ansel Norris and Rev. Paul Jagoe.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
