Bruce Palmer Clayton, 63, passed away July 13, 2021.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of Polly Sloan Clayton of Lyman and the late Palmer Clayton, he was the owner of Clayton?s, Inc. and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Bruce loved his family, granddaughters, and The Lord. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends and teaching his daughter and granddaughters to love the game.

Also surviving are his wife, Elaine Moore Clayton of the home; daughter, Katie Van Antwerp (Mark) of Boiling Springs; and granddaughters, Lillian Kate and Rosalie Margaret

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Holly Springs Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Tim Clark.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home and the home of his mother.
