Sue Carol Budesheim Hendley, 85, widow of Alan Grey Hendley, passed away October 5, 2020.

A native of Hopewell, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Theron Louis and Arlie Mae Price Budesheim; a homemaker; member of Hickory Bible Tabernacle and devoted, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-mother.

She lived her life in the light of the Lord, showing His love by doing for others.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son, Mark Alan Hendley (Sibyl) of Woodruff; one daughter, Susan Grey Hendley of Delaware; two brothers, Thomas L. Budesheim (Linda) of Maryland and Bruce W. Budesheim (Susan) of Kentucky; five grandchildren, Alan Bartram (Christina), Joseph Vickers (Amanda); Charity Vickers; Erin McConnell (Chris) and Bret Hendley (Amy) and five great-grandchildren, Ella Bartram, Willa Bartram, Aiden McConnell, Bennett Hendley and Beau Hendley.

Funeral Services:

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Barry Coffey.

The service will be available for livestreaming at www.thewoodmortuary.com. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
