Carolyn Jean Hawkins Waddell, 76, died May 8, 2017.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the Cathryn Satterfield Hawkins of Greer, and the late Fred Lee Hawkins, she was homemaker and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Bobby Thomas Waddell of the home; two sons, Rob Waddell (Rhonda) and Goob Waddell all of Greer; two sisters, Freda Barton and Sandra Blackwell both of Greer; five grandchildren, Danielle Moore, Amanda Odell, Rustin Waddell, Rylan Waddell and Brooke Pace and five great-grandchildren, Brock Gilliam, Amya Ellison, Bree Ellison, Ella Moore and Cruz Pace.

Mrs. Waddell was predeceased by one son, Denny Mark Waddell.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Burnsview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby and Rev. Ray Hatcher.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rustin Waddell, Rylan Waddell, Kerry Gilstrap, Carroll "Rooster" Gilstrap, Cale Tucker and Tyler Tucker.

Visitation will be held 12:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Burnsview Baptist Church.

The family is at the home.
