Clara Stone West, who spent her life living at 16 Cedar Lane, Greer, and working at Norris Manufacturing which later became Stone Manufacturing in Taylors, passed away on January 28, 2013.
Mrs. West was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Clara was predeceased by her husband Harold I. West, her parents Pearl Brown and Lawrence Stone and her brother Bobby E. Stone.
Surviving are her sister-in-law, Thelma Stone of Greer; a niece Teresa Stone of Greer; a nephew James (Marie) West and his three sons, Chris, Brian and James West all of Spartanburg.
Funeral services will be held at Wood Mortuary at 11 a.m. Wednesday, and the family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Honorary pallbearers will be her Sunday School class and her Mountain View High School Class of 1946, as well as all of her family at the Bayberry Retirement Inn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, S.C. 29356.
