Doris Vearl Grubbs Bayne, 92, widow of Claude B. Bayne, passed away February 13, 2020.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Russell B. and Rhetta Gentry Grubbs, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens Dunean Plant and a member of Pelham First Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Bayne Long of Anderson and Carolyn Bayne Klein of Charlotte, North Carolina; a brother, Jack Grubbs of Greer; two sisters, Margaret Leonard of Greer and Linda Allen of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Chad Hastings.

Burial will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
