Doris Anne Matthews Pearson, 82, died May 3, 2016 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Lincolnton, Georgia, daughter of the late Milledge Matthews, Sr. and Bessie Bell Ertzberger Matthews, she was a retired employee of Carolina Fashion and a member of Park Place Church of God in Greenville.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Paul Mason Pearson of the home; two daughters, Margie Ann Bishop and Sylvia Dianne Hensley both of Taylors; two sons, Mason Keith Pearson and Chad Jeffrey Pearson both of Taylors; a brother, Milledge Rutledge Matthews, Jr.; three sisters, Irish Nodine of Campobello, Marilyn Wilson of Taylors and Joyce Roth of Vesta, Georgia; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Jerry Barrineau, Rev. Terry Sherifield and Rev. Paul Jagoe.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.
