Doris Westbrook Barbare, 76, died October 12, 2013 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

She was born and raised in Trion, GA, a daughter of the late Grady and Annie Belle Payton Westbrook. She was the devoted wife of 59 years to Harold Barbare and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Barbare retired from Greenville County, School District after several years of service as a special needs bus driver.

Surviving:

Along with her husband she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila B. and M.H. Odom of Taylors; a son, Troy Barbare of Taylors; a daughter, Tracy Barbare of the home; one sister, Mildred Kellett of Powder Springs, GA; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Norma Jean Barbare, one brother and one sister.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by David Coleman.

Visitation will be prior to the service at the mortuary from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. on Monday.

The family is at the home.
