Dorothy Smith Wactor-Lynch, 88, widow of Daniel Lynch, passed away Sept. 19, 2018.
A native of Whitmire, daughter of the late Guy Fred and Pauline Honeycutt Smith, she was a homemaker and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving:
Surviving are a daughter, Catherine Batson of Lexington; two sons, Fred Wactor of Greenwood and Andy Wactor of Greer; three grandchildren, Jody Ross (Cliff), Andrew Wactor (Stephanie) and Rebecca Markham (Zach); and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Virgil Wactor and a sister, Guynelle Clanton.
Funeral Services:
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, conducted by Rev. Joe Cate and Ralph Johnson.
Honorary escorts will be Reggie McBride, Tom Sommer, Zach Markham, Blakely McConnell, Andrew Wactor, Cliff Ross and Gary McConnell.
Visitation will be held 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of her son, Andy Wactor, 1531 Henderson Gap Road, Greer.
