Edward Leroy Pittman, 81, passed away February 14, 2020.

A native of Greer, SC, son of the late Horace and Ellie Brewton Pittman, he was a retired self-employed painter and was of the Church of God faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Virginia Cecile Solesbee Pittman of the home; one son, Bryan Pittman (Angie) of Greer; one daughter, Karen Monroe (Randy) of Greer; one brother, Ken Pittman of Duncan; three sisters, Anita Hamby and Leona Sherlock both of Greer and Shirley Owen of Mauldin; three grandchildren, Brittney Clayton, Chad Monroe and Noah Pittman and three great-grandchildren, Allison Clayton, Gerard Monroe and Anakin Monroe.

He was predeceased by one son, Timmy Pittman; one brother, Bobby Pittman; and two sisters, Pauline Waldrop and Frances Jones.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2020 at Wood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.

The family is at the home of the daughter, Karen Monroe.
