Elizabeth Jo Wood Kemp, 88, widower of Hayden Clifton Kemp, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016.

A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late James Mannon and Corrie Belle McFall Wood, a retired employee of J.P. Stevens Taylor?s Plant, and a member of Fews Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving:

She is survived by one brother, Howard Grady Wood of Taylors; one sister, Lula Belle Anderson of Zirconia, NC; two grandchildren, Aaron Kemp (Virginia) and Claire Presswood (Devon); and one great-grandchild, Hayden Kemp.

Ms. Kemp was predeceased by her son, Warren H. Kemp; a daughter, Joan Elizabeth Kemp; one brother, Howard Grady Wood and one sister, Doris W. Price.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Darel Finch.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the mortuary.

The family will be at their respective homes.
