Everett Ernest Hannu, 85, of 210 Kingsley Park Drive, died December 20, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Ironwood, Michigan, son of the late Ernest and Mayme Hill Hannu, he was the construction foreman for Aho Construction and a member of Apostolic Lutheran Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Florence Eleanor Impola Hannu of the home; eight sons and daughters-in-law, David and Maryln Hannu of Rindge, NH, Keith Hannu of Greer, SC, Mark and Eeva Hannu of Rindge, NH, Roger and Sandra Hannu of Duncan, SC, Glen and Kelley Hannu of Rindge, NH, Nathan and Kristina Hannu of Greer, SC, Joel and Amy Hannu of West Richland, WA, Caleb and Laura Hannu of Battle Ground, WA; nine daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and James Aho of Rindge, NH, Grace and Ralph Niemela of Greer, SC, Patsy and Raymond Aho of New Ipswich, NH, Nancy and Dell Lang of Brush Prairie, WA, Diane and Lee Somero of New Ipswich, NH, Rachel and Raymond Stenersen of Lake Worth, FL, Dorothy and Gabriel Aho of Jaffrey, NH, Gloria and Floyd West of Benton City, WA, and Betsy and William Jussila of Pleasant Garden, NC; one hundred thirty five grandchildren; two hundred twenty two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Eugene Hannu of IL and Roderick Hannu of Ironwood, MI; two sisters, Norma Synkelma of Ironwood, MI and Eunice Kinnunen of Lake Worth, FL.

Mr. Hannu was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Stenroos and Nancy Helmes.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Apostolic Lutheran Church, conducted by Pastor Dennis Hannu and Pastor Ray Stenersen. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his eight sons.

Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the church.
