Flawy Pittman Nix, 91, of 3910 Berry Mill Road, widow of Samuel K. Nix, Jr., died February 26, 2013 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Born in Greer, daughter of the late Lewis and Venice Sudduth Pittman, she was a retired employee of Greer Shirt Plant and a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Rita Nix Balliew (Jerry) of Greer; a sister, Mary Nell Farmer of Greer; four grandsons, Randy and Chris Balliew, Monty Nix (Tonya), and Eric Nix (Leigh); two step-great-grandsons; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Nix was predeceased by a son, Jerry Nix and two brothers, Winfred and Joe Pittman.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Ted Conwell.
The families are at their respective homes.
