Frankie "Shine" Inez Mullinax Stokes, 91, widow of Huey L. Stokes, Jr., passed away March 27, 2017.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late William James and Lula Poole Mullinax, she was a former employee of Carolina Sue, a homemaker and a member of Groveland Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Stokes Reid of Greenville and Myra Stokes Byrd of Taylors; four grandchildren, Michael C. Byrd, Wendy B. Griffin, Carl Reid, Jr. and Chad E. Reid; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Tim McConnell, Rev. Jim Brooks, Rev. Melvin Dickson and Mr. Ray Haskett.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Carl Reid, Jr., Chad Reid, Michael Byrd, Austin Byrd, Chandler Norton and Dan Goodman.

Visitation will be held 2:45-3:45 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Myra Stokes Byrd.
