Eloise Gail Rector Cox, 82, passed away August 22, 2021.

A native of Greer, daughter of the late Mark C. and Audrey June Stewart Rector, she was a retired employee of Roger Huntington Nursing Home and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Gail Cox Compton (James) of Campobello and Nancy June Cox Matthews (Steve) of Inman; two brothers, Steve Rector (Joan) of Inman and John Daniel of Greer; three sisters, Joan Carlisle (David) of Lyman, MaryAnn Woodward (Wendell) of Inman and Sharon Leonard (Vernon) of Lyman; three grandchildren, Sarah Compton, John Grant and Noah Grant; and three great-grandchildren, Brantley Grant, Dalton Miller and Jonah McCollum.

She was predeceased by a son, Franklin Jeffrey Cox.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Joe Price.

Visitation will be held after the service at the cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes.
