John Harold Hudson Jr., 85, passed away June 28, 2018.
A native of Greer, he was the son of the late John Harold Hudson Sr. and Maude Hunter Hudson, a U.S. Army veteran, owner and operator of Hudson Studios and member of Taylors First Baptist Church.
Surviving:
Surviving are two daughters, Jan Hudson of Taylors and Leah Bookhamer (Bret) of Escondito, CA; one son, Tim Hudson (Brenda) of Travelers Rest, one sister, Gayle Harley (Dr. Jimmie Harley) of Greer; three grandsons, T. K. Hudson (Brittany), Dakota Hudson (Erica) and Braxton Bookhamer; three great-grandsons, Will, Wyatt and Raylan Hudson and one great-granddaughter, Eva Jane Hudson. Also, by the mother of his children, Barbara Mayfield Hudson.
He was also predeceased by his second wife, Charlet Hudson and a sister, Sara Atha Turner.
Funeral Services:
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley.
Visitation will be held Tuesday immediately after the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607 or Taylor?s Free Clinic, 400 W. Main Street, Taylors, SC 29687.
The families will be at their respective homes.
