Helen Elizabeth Wolfe Hix, 84, widow of William Cary Hix, passed away November 14, 2018.

A native of Greer, daughter of the late James Thomas Wolfe, Sr. and Altie Lydian Weaver Wolfe, she was a retired employee of Macke Food Service and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son, Marty Thomas Hix (Shannon) of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Katrina Hix Lybrand (Philip) of Greer; two brothers, Jimmy Wolfe and David Wolfe both of Greer; two sisters, Brenda Mason of Travelers Rest and Linda Watkins of Greer; grandchildren, Jeremy Hix, Brandon Lybrand, Jordan Lybrand and Addison Hix; and great-grandchildren, Wilson Lybrand, Trey Hix and Hannah Hix.

Mrs. Hix was predeceased by one son and daughter-in-law, William Michael and Janice Carol Hix, four brothers, James Thomas Wolfe, Jr., Bobby Wolfe, Ralph Wolfe and Kenneth Wolfe, one sister, Willie Mae Garland; two grandsons, Matthew Hix and Justin Hix and one great-grandson, Cory Metcalf.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Chaplain Gerald Jarrett.

The family is at their respective homes.
