Jacqueline Hope Loftis Campbell, 79, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, peacefully at home.
A native of Greer, she was a daughter of the late J. Roy and Lois Foster Loftis, a retired dental assistant and was a member of Praise Cathedral. She worked diligently by her husband's side as he held many positions in the church over 40 years; she was a dedicated pianist and organist in her church for many years under several great music directors. Jacqueline devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren and was faithful to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Douglas B. Campbell of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith D. and Gina Campbell of Greer and Steven M. and Lisa Campbell of Taylors; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly H. and Tony Patterson of Powdersville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Doyle and Neva Loftis of Chapin and Darius and Pat Loftis of Goose Creek; one sister, Maxine McCarthy of Rahway, NJ; one granddaughter, Christin Edge and her husband, Brandon of Greer and two grandsons, Jacob and Benjamin Campbell of Taylors.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Praise Cathedral, conducted by Pastor Bobby Johnson, her son, Keith Campbell and her nephew, Rev. Fred McCarthy. Burial will be private.
Pallbearers will be Ben Campbell, Jacob Campbell, Brandon Edge, Tommy Hart, Mark Ivester, and Jack Bentley.
Honorary escort will be the residents of Praise Village and her caregivers.
Visitation will be held 1:15 until 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service.
