James Andrew Larke, 77, passed away January 12, 2019.

A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late William and Dorothy Messer Larke, a retired employee of Roadway Express and member of Southside Baptist Church. His first wife was the late Mary Elizabeth Larke.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Vicky Price Larke of the home; one daughter, Karen Hardin (Jeff) of Greer; two sons, Greg Larke (Rachel) of Greer and Jason Larke of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one stepson, Richard Hollifield (Patti) of Greer; two brothers, Fred Larke (Jan) of Greer and Larry Larke (Wanda) of Inman; one sister, Linda Powell of Greer; nineteen grandchildren, Chris Leonhardt, Ethan Larke, Angela Howell, Amy Leonhardt, Katie Larke, Meagan King, McKenzie Hardin, Madison Hardin, Ashleigh Corder, Logan Corder, Reagan Larke, Collyn Larke, Brandon Hollifield, Kandice Hollifield, Dylan Forrester, Heather Paccione, Blake Forrester, Trey Garner and Sarah Garner and twelve great-grandchildren, Casey Larke, Grayson Larke, Emma Leonhardt, Payton Howell, Kyle Hollifield, Leah Hollifield, Lacey Hollifield, Lacey Hollifield, Claire Thang, Nhikolas Paccione, Maddy Paccione, Hayden Goddard and Sawyer Forrester.

He was also predeceased by one daughter, Angie Larke and one stepdaughter, Kim Acrey.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. David Cobb, Rev. Odell Moseley and Rev. James Price.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Honorary escort will be Darren Larke, Fred Larke and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 2:00 until 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
