Jimmy Dawson Hudson, 74, of Greer, went peacefully to be with the Lord, Friday, March 15, 2013 at his home. He was a retired General Manager with General Baking Co. and was also a member of the Bailey Masonic Lodge and of the Hejaz Shrine.

Surviving:

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Lindsay Hudson; daughter, Pamela Hudson-Henderson (Jim) and son, Joey D. Hudson (Peg); sister, Martha Green; sister-in-law Evelyn Hudson and Aunt Grace Wood.

He was a loving Papa to his three grandsons, John Crews, Hudson, and McGregor King and his beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse D. and Bertha Byars Hudson; brothers Bill and Larry Hudson.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 P.M. at Wood Mortuary in Greer, S.C. Sunday March 17, 2013. Visitation will be held 2:30 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family is at the Hudson Homeplace at 1387 Brockman-McClimon Road, Greer, S.C.

The family expresses special thanks to the loving care of Gentiva Hospice.
