James William (Jimmy) Tucker, 86, widower of Joan Taylor Tucker passed away May 18, 2021.

A native of Greer, son of the late Eben M. and Voncille Dodgen Tucker, he was retired from the United States Post Office, a United States Navy Veteran, and a member of El Bethel Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Vickie Pittman (Sonny) of Taylors; Toni Shoaf (Brad) of Greer; four grandchildren, Tia Bolding (Chris), Trent Pittman (Kristen), Tucker Shoaf, Savannah Ensley (Jared) and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Tucker was predeceased by one sister Joyce Keeran and one brother, Albert Tucker.

Funeral Services:

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 22, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Benjamin Littlejohn.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Garden.

A visitation will be held 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Tucker Shoaf, Trent Pittman, Jared Ensley, and Chris Bolding.

Memorials may be made to El Bethel Baptist Church building fund, P.O. Box 2809 Greer, SC, 29652.

The family will be at the home.
