John Larry Sexton, 80, passed away January 26, 2021.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late David and Myrtle Louise McAbee Sexton. He was a retired supervisor from AT&T, served as commissioner of SJWD Water District, an avid hunter and was State Turkey Calling Champion in 1973 in Edgefield, S.C.

Surviving:

Surviving in addition to his wife Martha Corn Peebles of the home; one daughter Caroline Sexton Millican (Dr. Joseph) of Inman; one son, John A. Sexton (Geislar) of Lyman; eight grandchildren, Nick Tate, Evan Tate, Ben Millican, John David Sexton, Michael Tucker, Khalil Willingham, John Gregory Brock and Caroline Elizabeth Brock.

Funeral Services:

Mr. Sexton was predeceased by his first wife Carolyn Lamb Sexton, one daughter Elizabeth Sexton Brock and one brother, William David Sexton.

A graveside service will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Mitch Crow and Dr. Joseph Millican.

Visitation will be after the service at the home.
