Joyce Gordon Ford, 85, widow of Merritt Ford, died August 30, 2014 at the National Health Care of Mauldin.

A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late David Furman and Pearl Golden Gordon, a retired employee of Kemet and a member of Five Forks Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Mike Ford of Greer and Tony Ford (Mary Alice) of Simpsonville; a sister, Ruth Leopard of Greer; seven grandchildren, Beth Ruffner, Anna, Andy, Caleb, and Caroline Ford, Amanda Nixon and Michael Barbare; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased also by a daughter-in-law, Sheila Ford and ten siblings.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Five Forks Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Howard Foster. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of the son, Tony Ford.
