Joyce Rothell Roper, 86, widow of Wayne Daniel Roper, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2018.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late James Ervin and Creatie Lou Slatten Rothell, she was a retired employee of Franklin Dye Yarn Company and a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Steve Taylor of Greenville; one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Nancy Roper of ? two grandchildren, Stephen Brooks Taylor (Kacie) and Mary Elizabeth Roper and two great-grandchildren, Kadence and Hunter Taylor.

Mrs. Roper was predeceased by two brothers.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at Tanglewood Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Graceland West Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Friday at Tanglewood Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of the daughter, Debra Taylor.
