June Lindsey Stokes, 94, widow of Percy Olan Stokes, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 31, 2015.

A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late William Green Lindsey and Montie Bishop Lindsey.

Mrs. Stokes was a homemaker and a faithful member of Fews Chapel United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years.

Surviving:

Surviving are her sons, Marion Stokes (Joyce), David Stokes (Lois), Tim Stokes and Dan Stokes; her daughters, Imogene Ball (Rodney) and Sheila Spagnolo (Tony); eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Elea Williams and one brother, Manley Lindsey.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gloria Joan Rumsey (Melvin); an infant daughter, Lorraine O. Stokes; one brother and one sister.

Funeral Services:

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015, from 12 Noon until 1:45 p.m. at Few?s Chapel United Methodist Church.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the church, conducted by Rev. Jospeh Cole and Rev. Julian Ford.

Burial will be in the church cemetery following the service.

Pallbearers will be Evan Roberts, Jordan Roberts, Cody McClure, Joseph Spagnolo, Brian Stokes and Terry Stokes.

The family is at the home of Marion Stokes.
