Kathy Idella Hannon, 68, passed away November 4, 2021.

A native of Greer, South Carolina, daughter of the late Roy Earl and Mary Lou Tate Hannon, she was a former telecommunications specialist for Dow Brands and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.

Kathy was an avid sports fan who loved the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Braves and South Carolina Gamecocks. She loved her family and friends and most of all her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sisters, Janice Hannon Pittman of Simpsonville and Becky Hannon Brown of Travelers Rest and her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by one sister, Sharon Hannon Nelson.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Tim Pigg and Rev. Keith Hannon.

Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park in Simpsonville, S.C.

Visitation will be held Tuesday after the committal service at Graceland East Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Double Springs Baptist Church General Fund, 3800 Locust Hill Road, Taylors, S.C., 29687.

The family is at the home of the sister, Becky Brown.
