Larry Lee Burgess, 72, passed away on September 12, 2017 at his home.

A native of Greer, son of the late L.T. and Jessie Lee Dill Burgess, he was a retired employee of John D. Hollingsworth and a member of Park Place Church of God.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Martha Crocker Burgess of the home; three daughters, Yvonne Burgess, Cindy Burgess and Tina Bellaire (Jack) all of Lyman; three brothers, Ansel Burgess of Taylors, Lanny Burgess of Taylors and Lester Burgess of Greer; one sister, Mildred Rainey of Taylors; five grandchildren, Taylor Brock (Jacob), Adam Vaughn (Andrea), Caleb Bellaire, Jackson Bellaire and Tyler Pace and four great-grandchildren, Addyson, Rylan and Anna Brock and Traveller Stevens-Vaughn.

Mr. Burgess was predeceased by three sisters, Elease Ellenburg, Betty Rainey and Cecilia Human.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Greer Church of God conducted by Rev. Tommy Brown and Rev. Terry Sherfield.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
