Leo Smith, 93, widower of Susie Pauline Stone Smith, passed Thursday, August 17, 2017 at his home.

A native of Greenville County, he was the son of Bailus Lee and Lonia Ross Smith, a US Army Veteran of World War II, a retired employee of Union Carbide, Purchasing Department and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are Aunt Cora Berry and several loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Smith Foster.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
