Lloyd Gordon Edland, 83, passed away March 7, 2021.

A native of Scobey, Montana, son of the late Christian O. and Ellen C. Hegland Edland, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired employee of Union Pacific Railroad and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Faith Lovet Varner Edland of the home; a son, Tony Edland (Anne) of Greer; sisters-in-law, Lillie Kirby (Ronnie), Evelyn Brown and Linda Bishop all of Union, Vera Beck and Carol Stepp both of North Augusta; a grandson, Christian Edland; and Adelaide Bynum, Madeline Bynum and Julian Bynum who he helped raise as his grandchildren.

Mr. Edland was predeceased by three brothers, Elvin Edland, Carl Edland and Oren Edland and seven sisters, Joan Daye, Vivian Webb, Carol Forcheck, Jean Blomquist, Violet Engman, Alice Edland and Ruby Dawn Edland.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Riverside Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Chris Jackson, Rev. Tony Brown and Rev. Heyward Horton.

Burial will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2021 in M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 10:30-11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
