Luther (Bud) Vanderbilt Wilson, Jr., 84, of 120 Benjamin Avenue, widower of Peggy Bridwell Wilson, died August 29, 2014 at his home.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Luther Vanderbilt Wilson, Sr. and Corrie Feagins Wilson, he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of Monroe Systems and a member of People?s Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Bobby Shennan of Taylors and two grandchildren, John and Julia Shennan.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at People's Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Larry Padgett. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Honorary escort will be the Senior Men's Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church.

The family is at the home.
