Mabeline Hudson Steading, 93, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 22, 2016 after a brief illness.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Barney and Lettie Bishop Hudson, she was a homemaker and a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Steading was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Freeman (Alex) of Greenville and Lois Bryson (Gary) of Greenville; two grandchildren, Jason Burton (fianc�, Stacey) and Heather Goss; three great-grandchildren, Luke, Shawnna and Chance; two sisters, Florence Smith and Mildred Byars both of Greenville; and a brother, Arthur Hudson of Greenville.

Mrs. Steading was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Dewey Steading, a granddaughter, Sonya, three brothers, Robert, Fred and Milford Hudson, and a sister, Etta Godfrey.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. David Williams.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.

The families are at their respective homes.
