Major A.L. Moore, Jr. (Chip), passed away peacefully at his home on October 25, 2015 at the age of 68.

He was born in Nashville, TN., the son of the late A.L. Moore, Sr. and Margaret Hamilton Moore.

Major Moore served in the United States Army and in the Florida Army National Guard. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving:

He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Elizabeth Jackson Moore, and two sons, A.L. Moore III of Gainesville, FL., and Joseph Hamilton Moore of Newnan, GA.

Funeral Services:

A private family memorial service will be held a later date.

The family is at the home.

The family would like to express its heartfelt appreciation to Gibbs Cancer Center and Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their dedicated care and support.
