Malinda King Holcombe, 100, widow of William Abe Holcombe, went to her heavenly home on December 27, 2020.

She was a charter member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church. She loved her church family and was cherished by her family and friends.

A native of Henderson County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Mitchell A. and Anna Osteen King, she was a retired employee of Stone Manufacturing.

Surviving:

Surviving are three sons, Fred Holcombe (Sarah) of Kingsport, Tennessee, Jack Holcombe (Nancy) and Marion Holcombe (Brenda) of Greer; two daughters, Linda Kirby (Buster Few) and Trick Lister (Tony) of Greer; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Perry Brindley and Rev. Chad Hastings. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

The body will lie in state 12:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
