Margaret Sudduth Gibson, 94, widow of Darwin "Doc" Gibson, passed away August 19, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late J.W. and Cora Henson Sudduth, she worked for 36 years at Lyman Printing and Finishing Co. before retirement, she worked for 15 years as an employee of the Greenville County School District and was a member of Washington Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Drenda G. and Rev. Joe Price of Greer; one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis H. and Carol Gibson of Greer; four grandchildren, Neal Gibson, Martin Price (Nikki), Kala Barnette (Rusty), and Katie Yancar (Kevin); and six great-grandchildren, Alivia Gibson, Sullivan Price, Lucas Barnette, Trevino Gibson, Maddox Barnette, and Clinton Yancar.

She was also predeceased by three brothers, Buck Sudduth, Bill Sudduth, and J.T. Sudduth and two sisters, Earline Phillips and Grace Austin.

Funeral Services:

Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Washington Baptist Church.conducted by Dr. Drew Hines and Rev. Joe Price. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Neal Gibson, Martin Price, Rusty Barnette, Kevin Yancar, Dennis H. Gibson and Joe Price.

Visitation will be held 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service.

The family is at the home of the daughter and son-in-law, Drenda and Joe Price.

The family would like to express our appreciation to the staff of National Healthcare of Greenville for their care and compassion for our mother.
