Margaret Wood Wilson, the widow of Kenneth L. Wilson, and a native of South Carolina, died September 8, 2013.

Mrs. Wilson was the only child of Thomas and Odessa Wood, and was born in Spartanburg, SC on April 17, 1919. She spent most of her life in Atlanta, GA, but had resided in recent years in Cedartown, GA. Mrs. Wilson had been associated with WAGA-TV for many years.

Surviving:

Surviving are her family: daughters, Mrs. Georganna (Tom) Chatham of Marietta, GA and Mrs. Anne Joyner-Denton of Atlanta, GA; a grandson, Mr. Matthew Chatham of Roswell, GA; granddaughters, Mrs. Rebecca (Lyle) Cole of Demopolis, AL and Mrs. Catheryn (Peter) Denton-Aiken of Montpelier, VA; great-grandchildren, Mrs. Robyn (Steve) Rice, Mrs. Catie Cole-Bennett, and Mr. Philip Cole; great-great-grandchildren, Ms. Rebecca Feather, Dausen Mason, and Barrett Mason and step-great-great-grandchildren, Delaney and Jack Rice.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Mountain View Cemetery, Greer, SC, with Rev. John Rush officiating.

Visitation will be held 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary, Greer, SC, prior to the service.
