Margarette Boyter Swank, 84, of Greenville, died November 7, 2014 at Laurel Baye Healthcare.

A native of Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Jeannette Kennemore Boyter, a retired bookkeeper with the Salvation Army, was of the Christian Faith and a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving:

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, John "Mike" and Kathy Swank of Greenville; two grandchildren, Cristina Martinson and Sarah Mobley and five great-grandchildren.

She also was predeceased by a son, Kelly Swank.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Dr. Marcus Buckley.

The family is at their respective homes.
