Martha Sue Smoak Vess, 86, widow of John Dupree "J.D." Vess, passed away December 14, 2018.

A native of Marion County, Florida, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens Taylors Plant and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Earl Clayton of Taylors, Patsi and Lynn Thomason of Spartanburg and Stephanie and Tracy Hopkins of Greenville; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2018, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Mr. Ray Raines.

Visitation will be held Monday following the service at the mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
