Marvin Woodrow Vest, 74, widower of Judith Eaton Vest, died December 13, 2014 at his home.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Paul Ansel and Florence Rich Vest, he was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of North Fork Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Ricky Dean Vest of Taylors; a daughter, Donna V. Odom of Taylors; two sisters, Jean Vest Watkins and Brenda Vest Hughes both of Greenville; four grandchildren, Nichole Auffant, Tyler Ray, Allison Vest and Leah Odom; and three great-grandchildren, Tytan Ray, Talon Ray and Emma Vest.

Mr. Vest was predeceased by a brother, Rev. Larry Vest.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Tommy Wallace.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of his daughter, Donna Odom, 836 Packs Mountain Ridge Road, Taylors, SC 29687.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Fork Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 610, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
