Mary Lou Good Cathcart, 78, of 686 Maywood Street, died December 15, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Troy C. Good, Sr. and Mattie Lou Roper Good, she was a homemaker and a member of Florence Moore Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Richard F. Cathcart, Sr. of the home; two sons, Richard F. Cathcart, Jr. and his wife, Teresa of Dandridge, Tennessee and Robert L. Cathcart and his wife, Teresa of Chesnee; a daughter, Ann Marie Garwood of Inman; a brother, Troy Good, Jr. of Wellford; two sisters, Ann Harmon and Ruby Owens both of Wellford; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and her special lifelong friend, Shirley Hayes of Arcadia.

Mrs. Cathcart was predeceased by one sister, Shelby Davis.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ted Gaines. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 2:15-3:15 p.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
