Mary Elizabeth Chandler Hendricks, 91, widow of William Leroy Hendricks, passed away October 30, 2017 at her home.

A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Walter Cleveland Chandler and Lessie Mae Greer Chandler, a retired educator with the Greenville County School District having taught for thirty years, and was a member of Abner Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, William Leroy Hendricks, Jr. of Campobello and Phil Lamar Hendricks of Greer; one brother, Paul Chandler of Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Lois Martin of Arlington, Virginia; five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by five brothers, Fred, Buford, Roy, Garvin and Calvin Chandler and one sister, Alma Brown.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Scott Ogle.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
