Mary Frances Emanuel Rollins Carnes, 84, wife of the late Rev. Robert
Carnes, Jr., passed away September 24, 2022.

A native of Maxton, N.C., daughter of the late William A. and Carrie Lee Hewitt Emanuel, she was a member of Praise Cathedral.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Bowman (Vance) of Greenville
and Robin Rollins of Taylors; one brother, Lynn Emanuel (Peggy) of Ruby, S.C.; three grandchildren, Luke Bowman (Mandy) of Hornell, N.Y.,, Carrie Tomkins (Ryan) of Winder, Ga., and Leslie Higgs (Aaron) of Greenville; and eight great-grandchildren, Elliot, Levi, Micah, Nancy Joy, Gideon, Caelum, Raelyn, and Caeden.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Luther Milford Rollins and two brothers, William Lee Emanuel and Vaster Emanuel.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept., 29, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Pastor Luke Bowman and Pastor Jerry Madden.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12 -1:45 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her granddaughter, Leslie and Aaron Higgs.
