Our precious mother, Mary Lois Ross Satterfield, 88, widow of Edwin Morris Satterfield, met her Lord and Saviour on Thursday evening, January 13, 2022.

Our mother is now reunited with our father and her beloved husband. Our precious memories of her will forever be embedded in our hearts until we meet in that perfect place called Heaven.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Andrew Furman and Irene Simmons Ross, she loved fashion and decorating, "House of Interiors" was her business that specialized in custom made draperies.

She was active in her church, Pelham First Baptist Church, where she was involved in Bible studies, served on the benevolence and decorating committees. Lois was an active participant with her dearly loved friends, in the "Merry Makers" Sunday School Class.

She was a genuine person, not only beautiful on the outside, but inside as well. She had a love of life, a smile and sparkle that would light up the room.

Lois never met a stranger. She loved people and made friends wherever she went. Her compassion and kindness were evident by consistently reaching out her hands to help anyone in need.

Lois was an amazing cook. Her hospitality and kitchen were always open to friends and family where a warm, delicious meal was always served.
