Max Carlton Davis, 76, passed away August 2, 2017.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Jeter M. and Nellie Atkins Davis, he was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, a former textile worker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Irene Morrow Davis of the home; a niece, Gail Duncan of Inman; two great-nephews, Michael Dwayne Duncan (Courtney) of Landrum and Cordale Lowe of Greer; and a great-niece, Alexis Duncan of Spartanburg.

Mr. Davis was predeceased by a brother, Dean Davis.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Terry Greene.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
