Michael Wayne Holt, 69, widower of Gayle Price Holt, passed away December 8, 2018.
A native of Paris, Texas but raised in Dallas, Texas, he was a son of the late Philip and Edith Virginia "Jean" Lawrence Holt, a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, a retired employee of Walmart and of the Methodist faith.
Surviving:
Surviving are a son, Brad Holt (Heather Marie) of Elgin; a daughter, Brandi H. Lovejoy (Elijah) of Hope Mills, North Carolina; two brothers, David Holt of Dallas, Texas and Richard Holt of Coppell, Texas; one sister, Janet Simmons of Garland, Texas; and seven grandchildren, Parker and Sawyer Holt, Charissa, Simeon, Pax, Eva and Valor Lovejoy.
Mr. Holt was predeceased by one brother, Stephen Holt.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Elijah Lovejoy.
Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary.
