Mildred Lemme Wood Edwards, 84, of 435 Lyman Lake Road, widow of Ralph Junior Edwards, Sr., died July 18, 2013 at her home.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Bryson Ezell and Viola Smith Wood, a retired employee of J.P. Stevens, and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Ronald R. Edwards, Jr. of Inman; two daughters, Sondra Edwards of Lyman and Donna K. Bright of Travelers Rest; a brother, Willard Wood of Greer; two sisters, Christine Parker of Lancaster and Ida Roddy of Orangeburg; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013, at The Wood Mortuary chapel.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 1 until 2 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
