Mildred Gerlene Hart Brown, 94, went home to her Lord and Savior on July 16, 2021.

Ms. Brown was a native of Greer, SC, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Leila Pittman Hart.

She was a retired seamstress and a member of Greer Church of God.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter, Cynthia Ritchey; one son, Darrell Brown; one brother, Charles Hart; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a very dear friend, Carolyn Hawkins.

Ms. Brown was predeceased by three brothers, Harold, Randall, and Theron Hart; four sisters, Hazel Lee Welchel, Dottie Seay, Mae Hart, and Irene Hart.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Tommy Brown.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Greer Church of God Senior Ministry, 500 Trade Street, Greer, SC 29651.
