Myra Knox Wood, 70, wife of Steve Wood, passed away January 1, 2013 at the McCall Hospice House.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late James and Callie Knox.

She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and a former student of North Greenville University. She attended Washington Baptist Church.

She was praised for being a wonderful daughter-in-law. She had great love and concern for her many friends and neighbors and her family wants to express their sincere thanks for all their deeds of kindness during her illness.

Surviving:

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Todd Wood (Jayne Carole) of Daytona, Florida and Terry Wood (Lisa) of Greer; two grandsons, Dillon and Tucker.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Drew Hines and Rev. Donel Kelley.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

The family is at the home.
